CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
1. Students are told to come in at recess and lunch to work on incomplete HW and classwork. They should check in with me about their grades prior to Spring Break if they have any questions or concerns.
2. Students will be working on assessments till the end of quarter 3 beginning this week- two essays in ELA and a project in social studies. Two essays will be completed during ELA/writing class time- an informative/expository essay and a narrative. Students should have sufficient time in class to get this done; however, they are allowed to work on the essays at home if more time is needed.
3. Students will be required to complete 7 weeks of iReady lessons for Quarter 3, which means they should have 14 lessons passed by Wed. 3/13. Students are given credit for passing 2 lessons per week. iReady can only be worked on online and students are encouraged to work on this at home each week. Students are also allowed to come in at lunch to work on their iReady lessons if they need more time at school; otherwise, students are only given 30-45 minutes each week in class to work on iReady.
4. Quarter 3 Clean Card to Ice Palace is on Friday for the first half of the day. When students return to school, they will have computer time to work on their iReady lessons, ELA narrative, or their social studies Unit 4 project.
